Withdrawal: Discontinuation of the use of
an addictive substance, which may be accompanied by
symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, bone pain, hot or
cold flashes, shaking, irritability, etc.
Witness: A person who is called to testify at
a trial or a deposition.
Wrongful Death: A death that occurs because
of someone else's malice, negligence, or
recklessness.
Wrongful Death Statutes: Laws giving the
family members of a deceased a cause of action if
the death of their loved one resulted because of
